Remove/Install Service Connection On Shock Absorber Of Electrohydraulic Suspension - AR32.50-P-0009-01S

with code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension) 

	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on it. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A

Remove 

1. Screw in shutoff valves (2, 3) up to end stop.

   The hydraulic pressure in the suspension strut (1) can only be retained by closing the shutoff valves (2, 3) It is not possible to fill the suspension struts (1).

2. Clean area around connection fittings (4, 5).

   No dirt is allowed to enter into the system.

   Otherwise the suspension struts (1) may be damaged.

3. Release connection fittings (4, 5) until the first drops of hydraulic fluid escape.

   Do not completely unscrew connection fittings (4, 5).

   Otherwise the hydraulic fluid may escape in an uncontrolled manner.

   Collect escaping hydraulic fluid using suitable container.

4. Wait until hydraulic fluid no longer runs out and a system pressure of zero bar is shown in the diagnostic system.
5. Unscrew connection fittings (4, 5).

   Install 

6. Screw connection fittings (4, 5) into suspension strut (1).

   The shutoff valves (2, 3) are opened during the system filling process.

7. Clean area around connection fittings (4, 5) again.
8. Apply preservation agent in area around shutoff valves (2, 3) and connection fittings (4, 5).

   Make sure preservation agent does not enter connection fittings (4, 5).
