2	Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (1) using rolling-element bearing grease.

3	Position extraction and insertion tool (1), as shown, onto wheel carrier (2) and elastomer bearing (3).	Extraction and insertion tool	Fig 1
4	Pull elastomer bearing (3) out of wheel carrier (2) in direction of arrow (arrow A) and remove.	Extraction and insertion tool	Fig 1

	Install
6	Clean bearing seat in wheel carrier (2).
7	Coat new elastomer bearing (3) with insertion agent.	Mobil Vacuoline 137 insertion agent, 0.5 L	*BR00.45-Z-1097-06A
8	Grease spindle of extraction and insertion tool (1) again using rolling-element bearing grease.

9	Position extraction and insertion tool (1) with new elastomer bearing (3), as shown, onto wheel carrier (2).	The flattened edge (arrows B) of the elastomer bearing (3) must face in the direction of travel. Extraction and insertion tool	Fig 1
10	Pull new elastomer bearing (3) into wheel carrier (2) in direction of arrow (arrow C).	Pull-in elastomer bearing (3) until protrusion on wheel carrier (2) is equal on both sides. The elastomer bearing (3) must be seated centrally in the wheel carrier (2). Extraction and insertion tool	Fig 1
