Side Wall Reinforcement Partial Separation - Ar63.20-P-0861-01S

Model 223.0/1/9 

The next steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle for model 223.1 and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle in the event of damage.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Expose spot welds on side wall reinforcement (1) and cut out (area A).

2. Heat side wall reinforcement (1) in cross-hatched area.

   Cross-hatched area is bonded.

3. Remove side wall reinforcement (1).

4. Grind mating surface down to bare metal in cross-hatched area.

   Observe preliminary treatment of bonding surface.

5. Remove grinding dust.
