Outer Section Of A-Pillar Holder Cut Off - Ar63.20-P-1102-07S

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating point on A-pillar bracket (1) (area A).
2. Drill off flow-form rivet at A-pillar bracket (1) with Ø 6 mm (areas B).
3. Cut separating point at A-pillar bracket (1) (area A).
4. Grind mating surface at A-pillar outer section (2) down to bare metal in cross-hatched area.
5. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.

   Do not make the cuts too deep.

   Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.
