The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Mark separating point on A-pillar bracket (1) (area A).
2. Cut separating point at A-pillar bracket (1) (area A).
3. Grind mating surface at A-pillar bracket (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched area.
4. Remove grinding dust.
