- Install inner side wall (1) and fit.
- Install C-pillar.
- Install rear fender and fit.
- Install trunk lid.
- Install rear bumper.
- Install rear lamp unit.
- Install door seal.
- Install lock striker.
- Check gaps using
feeler gauge and adjust.
- Fix inner side wall (1) in place.
- Remove lock striker.
- Remove door seal.
- Remove rear lamp unit.
- Remove rear bumper.
- Remove trunk lid.
- Remove rear fender.
- Remove C-pillar.
- Drill rivet holes in inner side wall (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (areas A).
- Drill holes for screws in inner side wall (1) with Ø 6.5 mm (area B).
- Drill rivet holes in inner side wall (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (areas C, D).
- Countersink rivet hole in inner side wall (1) (area D).
- Drill holes for screws in inner side wall (1) with 0 5.5 mm (area E).
- Drill rivet holes in inner side wall (1) with Ø 6.7 mm (areas F, G).
- Countersink rivet holes in inner side wall (1) (area G).
- Drill holes for screws in inner side wall (1) with Ø 10 mm (area H).
- Remove inner sidewall (1).
- Deburr rivet holes on inner side wall (1) and body on both sides.
- Remove drill chips.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in cross-hatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Clip in support (2).
- Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched area for reinforcements on support (2).
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in cross-hatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install inner side wall (1) and fix in place.
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivets Ø 6.5x12.5 (areas Y2 ).
- Position screws (3).
Use M6x20 screws (3).
- Tighten nuts (4).
Use M6 nuts (4).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivets Ø 6.4x12 (areas Y1 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivets Ø 6.5x12.5 (areas Y2 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivets Ø 6.5x14.5 (area Y3 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with countersunk-head rivets Ø 6.4x15.5 (area Z2 ).
- Position screws (6).
Use M5x19 screws (6).
- Tighten nuts (5).
Use nuts (5) M5.
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivets Ø 6.5x12.5 (areas Y2 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivets Ø 6.5x14.5 (areas Y3 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivet Ø 6.4 M6 (area Y4 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivet Ø 6.4 (area Y5 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with rivet Ø 6.4x20 (area Y6 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with countersunk-head rivet Ø 6.4x15.5 (area Z2 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with countersunk-head rivets Ø 6.4x17.0 (areas Z3 ).
- Rivet inner side wall (1) with countersunk-head rivet Ø 6.4x19.0 (area Z4 ).
- Bend sheet metal lug (1A) in direction of arrow.
- Seal holes for screws on inner side wall (1) with sealant (area J).
