The following steps are shown on component parts on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same way on the right side in the event of damage.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Grind mating surfaces on the inner side wall (1) down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

3. Remove grinding dust.
