Rear Roof Frame Mounting Support Removal - Ar65.20-P-1008-08S

Model 223.0/1/9 

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle for model 223.1 and must be performed in the same way on the right side of the vehicle. The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Expose spot welds on the roof frame mounting support (4) and cut out (areas A).

2. Heat roof frame mounting support (4) in the cross-hatched areas.

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.

3. Remove roof frame mounting support (4).

4. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

5. Remove grinding dust.
