The next steps are shown on model 223.1.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Prepare bonding surfaces (areas B).

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2. Apply Teroson adhesive on body (areas A).

   Observe processing specifications of adhesive.

3. Apply 2-component adhesive to center roof paneling (1) in cross-hatched areas (areas C).

   Observe processing specifications of adhesive.

4. Apply Sikaflex adhesive in cross-hatched areas on holders (4) (area D).

   Observe processing specifications of adhesive.

5. Install center roof paneling (1), fit with roof spacer blocks, and fix in place.

   During removal, observe recorded dimensions and positions

   of roof spacer blocks.

   During removal, observe recorded dimensions from outer edge of center roof paneling to outer edge of front and rear crossmembers.

6. Insert roof luggage rack mounts (2) and install nuts (3).
