Blind rivet with countersunk head (T)

The graphics show the vehicle from the mechanic's perspective. At the same time, this perspective also prescribes the direction in which the rivets must be set.

1. Install, fit and fix in place crossmember under the rear-end floor (1).
2. Drill rivet holes in the crossmember under the rear-end floor (1) with ø 6.7 mm (areas A).
3. Remove crossmember under the rear-end floor (1).
4. Deburr rivet holes in the crossmember under the rear-end floor (1) and in the body on both sides.
5. Remove drill chips.

6. Apply 2-component adhesive to body in cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

7. Install crossmember under the rear-end floor (1) and fix in place.
8. Rivet crossmember under the rear-end floor (1) with rivets ø 6.5x14.5 (areas Y₃ ).
