1. Grind mating surfaces on crossmember (2) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2. Remove grinding dust.

3. Grind mating surfaces on support angle (3) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

4. Remove grinding dust.
