Longitudinal Member Reinforcement Preparation For Installation - Ar62.20-P-1243-02S

Model 223.0/1/9 

The following operation steps are shown on model 223.1 on the left side of the vehicle and must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle in the event of damage.

The superordinate service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

1. Grind mating surfaces at longitudinal member reinforcement (1) down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2. Remove grinding dust.
