Release Electric Parking Brake Mechanically - AR42.20-P-1000S

	Remove/install
1	Remove electric parking brake actuator motor.	The electric parking brake must be manually released if the electrical components of the electric parking brake malfunction when the parking brake is actuated.	AR42.20-P-0600S
	Release
2	Turn spindle (1) on brake caliper (2) far enough to gain access to the brake disk.	To release the parking brake, turn the spindle (1) clockwise. Spindle (1) must remain in an open state.
3	Install in the reverse order.
