Activate/Deactivate Pad Change Mode - AR42.10-P-1710-01S

Model 192, 206, 214, 223, 232, 236, 254, 294, 295, 296, 297 

Activate 

1. Place the transmitter key inside the vehicle.
2. Press Start button once.

   Do not operate brake pedal.

   Circuit 15 R is switched.

3. Switch instrument cluster to basic mode.

   The total distance must be displayed.

4. Press and hold down main menu button (2) for 5 s, release and then immediately press and hold down OK button (1) for 3 s.

   The Workshop menu is now open.

5. Change to brake pad change menu item and confirm with OK button (1).

   The service menu still remains open even after activation.

6. Activate brake pad change mode with OK button (1).

   Do not depress the service brake during "Move to assembly position".

   Otherwise damage to the spindle in the brake caliper will occur.

   The "Assembly position reached" message is shown.

   Deactivation 

7. Leave assembly position by pressing OK button (1).

   While "Warning! Exiting assembly position" is displayed, do not depress the service brake.

   Otherwise damage to the spindle in the brake caliper will occur.

   The message "Warning! Exiting assembly position" appears in the display

8. Confirm "Assembly position was exited" message with OK button (1)

   The assembly position is exited.
