Bonding surfaces (2) must be free from dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues, and other adhesive components.
Otherwise, there may be adhesion problems.
Only use the adhesive kit specified in the XENTRY Portal parts information.
- Attach cup suction tools to outside of panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) and set down panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) on a suitable base with the inside facing upwards.
Aid of helper required.
- Clean bonding surfaces (2) on panoramic sliding roof frame (1).
- Mount panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) on body and use
feeler gauge to align distance between windshield upper edge and front edge of fixed glass section.
- The Affix tape strips as shown and cut through at outer edges of panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1).
- Place panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1) onto suitable base with inside pointing upward.
- Apply primer to bonding surfaces (2) at panoramic sliding sunroof frame (1).
The primer must flash off for at least 10 min.
Otherwise the adhesive effect of the adhesive material will be impaired.
