Shown on front fixed element (1) with adhesive retainers (3) as of modification year 22/1

Set down front fixed element (1), with inside facing upward, on a suitable base.
Clean bonding surfaces (2) at front fixed element (1).
Do not damage adhesive retainers (3).

The cleaner is an integral part of the adhesive kit.

Apply cleaner only to the bonding surfaces (2) and allow to dry completely.

Mount front fixed element (1) on body and align the clearance between the windshield upper edge and the roof front edge using the feeler gauge.
Center front fixed element (1) between side roof panelings and windshield.

Observe installation position of windshield seal (arrows).

Aid of helper required.
The Glue on tape strips and cut through at front edge of front fixed element (1).
Set down front fixed element (1), with inside facing upwards, on a suitable base.
Apply activator to bonding surfaces (2) at front fixed element (1).
The flash-off time of the activator is 15 min.

The activator is an integral part of the adhesive kit.
Apply primer to bonding surfaces (2) at front fixed element (1).
The flash-off time of the primer is 15 min.

The primer is an integral part of the adhesive kit.
