Panoramic sliding sunroof
As special equipment with code 413 (panoramic sliding sunroof/panoramic roof), the new S-Class model 223 offers an electrically driven panoramic sliding sunroof, which moves outside the vehicle body. The panoramic sliding sunroof offers maximum visibility and opening with a simultaneously high vehicle stiffness.
The following functions are new:
Panoramic sliding sunroof operation
The operation of the panoramic sliding sunroof and the roller blinds is done by swiping and pressing a touchslider in the overhead control panel.
Backflow function
If the panoramic sliding sunroof is completely opened, the front roller blinds are set in a defined position, so that the vehicle occupants are better protected from drafts.
Automatic lowering
If the panoramic sliding sunroof is lifted at the rear, it automatically lowers itself a little at higher speeds. At lower speeds, it automatically lifts itself back up.
Voice control
In combination with the new voice control, the operation of the roller blind is also made easier and more comfortable. For instance, the order can be: "roller sunblind up" and the roller blind is immediately and automatically extended, without having to press a button.
Mercedes me
Via Mercedes me, the order "open panoramic roof" can be initiated. In so doing, the roller blind is opened first, followed by the panoramic roof. If the order "close panoramic roof" is given, only the panoramic roof is closed, not the roller blind.
