Check/Adjust Heads-Up Display - AR54.30-P-6401S

INSPECT Check     
1 Park the vehicle on a horizontal, level surface.    
2 Close hood, doors and trunk lid.    
3 Press start/stop button once. IMPORTANT Circuit 15R is engaged.  
    IMPORTANT The foot brake may not be operated. There must be no fault messages shown on the instrument cluster display (A 40/15).  
4 Set driver's seat to correct ergonomic position.    
5 Activate Head-up Display.    
6 Call up workshop level on instrument cluster display (A40/18). Model 206

7 Swipe downward on finger navigation pad (3) to select menu item "Head-up Display" on instrument cluster display (A40/18) and confirm selection using finger navigation pad (3).    
8 Swipe on finger navigation pad (3) to select "Test image" menu item and confirm selection. IMPORTANT "Off (original picture)" appears on instrument cluster display (A40/18).  
9 Press on finger navigation pad (3) to call up list of available test images.    
10 Swipe on finger navigation pad (3) to select "Test image 1" and confirm selection. IMPORTANT Test image 1 is shown on the windshield.  
INSPECT Check     
11 Check and assess test image 1. IMPORTANT The assessment must be performed by at least 2 persons.
If test image 1 is shown correctly,

continue with operation step 19.
 
12 Press on finger navigation pad (3) to call up list of available test images.    
13 Swipe on finger navigation pad (3) to select test image 7 and confirm selection.    
14 Check and assess test image 7. IMPORTANT The assessment must be performed by at least 2 persons.
If test image 7 is shown correctly,

continue with operation step 19.
 
  Adjust     
15 Press "Back" button (5).    
16 Swipe on finger navigation pad (3) to select "Parameters"
menu item and confirm selection.
   
17 Swipe on finger navigation pad (3) to select menu item "Reset parameters" and confirm selection. IMPORTANT Parameters are reset.  
18 Call up test image 1 and test image 7 again and assess them. If test image 1 or test image 7 is not shown correctly,
select individual parameters under menu item "Parameters" and correct them accordingly using finger navigation pad (3) "Change: swipe left/right".
 
  Final activities     
19 Press finger navigation pad (3) and swipe on finger navigation pad (3) to select "Off (original picture)" and confirm selection.    
20 Press "Back" button (5) repeatedly until menu selection is shown in instrument cluster display (A40/18), then switch off ignition. IMPORTANT The workshop menu is only fully deactivated by switching off the ignition.
