Remove/Install Switch For Electrically Unlocked Trailer Coupling - AR54.25-P-0011S

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Open trunk lid.    
3 First unclip lower trim (1) at retaining clips (2) and then disconnect from trunk lid at clamps (3). SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
4 Remove lower trim (1) far enough until electrical connector on trailer coupling button (S142/2) is accessible.    
5 Release and disconnect electrical connector on trailer coupling button (S142/2).    
6 Press catch hooks together (arrows A) and remove trailer coupling button (S142/2) with cover frame (4).    
7 Unclip trailer coupling button (S142/2) from cover frame (4) (arrows B). When replacing trailer coupling button (S142/2).  
    SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
8 Install in the reverse order.
