	Remove/install
1	Check which variant of seat frame base (2) is installed.	There are two different versions of the seat frame base (2). Old version: Without bores (arrows F) on front side of seat frame base (2). New version: With bores (arrows F) on front side of seat frame base (2). As only the new version of the seat frame base (2) is available as a replacement part, the new version may also be installed on older vehicles.
2.1	Lift seat cushion padding (1) in front area (arrow A) until mounting frame bows (3) are unclipped from retaining clips (4).	When unclipping seat cushion padding (1) from old version of seat frame base (2). Ensure that mounting frame bows (3) are clipped correctly into retaining clips (4).
2.2	Release pins (5.1) of retaining clips (5) through bores (arrows F) using a suitable tool (arrow E) and lift seat cushion padding (1) in front area (arrow A).	When unclipping seat cushion padding (1) from new version of seat frame base (2). Ensure that mounting frame bows (3) are clipped correctly into retaining clips (5).
3	Expose and disconnect electrical connector of seat heating.	Model 447.6/7 with code H15 (Seat heater for front passenger) with code S23 (Co-driver's seat double seat)
4	Expose and disconnect electrical connector of seat belt warning system.	Model 447.6/7 with code J55 (Seat belt warning system for front passenger seat) with code S23 (Co-driver's seat double seat)
5	Remove seat cushion padding (1) forward (arrow B) from seat frame base (2).	Ensure that mounts (arrows C) are seated correctly in holders (arrows D).
6	Check retaining clips (4 or 5) for damage.	If a retaining clip (4 or 5) is damaged: ↓ Replace retaining clip (4 or 5).
7	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
8	Perform function test on seat heating.	Model 447.6/7 with code H15 (Seat heater for front passenger) with code S23 (Co-driver's seat double seat)
9	Perform function test on seat belt warning system.	Model 447.6/7 with code J55 (Seat belt warning system for front passenger seat) with code S23 (Co-driver's seat double seat)
