1. Close doors.
2. Turn key in ignition lock to position "1".

   The standard display (trip odometer/total distance) must appear on the multifunction display (4); if necessary press the system selection button (1) repeatedly.

3. First press and hold down R button (2) and then within 1 second also press and hold down + button (3) for approx 5 seconds.
4. Press system selection button (1) until "ASSYST PLUS" appears on the multifunction display (4).
5. Press R button (2).
6. Press system selection button (1) until "Vehicle handover" appears on the multifunction display (4).
7. Press R button (2).

   "Vehicle handed over?" is displayed on the multifunction display (4).

8. Confirm "Yes" with + button (3).
9. Press "System selection" button (1) repeatedly until standard display (trip odometer/total distance) appears on the multifunction display (4).
10. Turn the key in the ignition lock into position "0".
