The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side of the vehicle.

1. Clean holder (2) and bumper (3) in cross-hatched area.

2. Position rear left Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/3) or rear right Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/4) in holder (2) and guide into mounts (arrows A).
3. Swivel rear left Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/3) or rear right Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/4) at top into holder (2).
4. Lock rear left Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/3) or rear right Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/4) at top at holder (2) (arrow B).

   Shown on model 447.8 

5. Disconnect cable tie (4) and route electrical plug (6) to holder (2).
6. Remove cover cap (5) from electrical plug (6).
7. Connect electrical plug (6) with rear left Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/3) or rear right Blind Spot Assist radar sensor (B161/4).
8. Fasten extended length of electric line of electrical plug (6) to factory-installed electrical wiring harness using a cable tie.
