General
The multifunction camera control unit (B84/8) is mounted directly above the inside mirror on the top center of the windshield.
Function
The camera records lane markings on the roadway in front of the vehicle, which are used in the multifunction camera control unit (B84/8) to implement the camera-supported driver assistance systems.
The following input factors and initial parameters are read in and output via direct lines from the multifunction camera control unit (B84/8):
