Internal reaction time of inputs
The internal reaction time of the multi processing module must be a maximum of T = 100 ms + debounce time (+ message cycle time with CAN transmit signals). The debounce time is permitted to be max. 30 ms. This is only applicable for direct use of the input signals on the multifunction outputs or transmit signals of the interior CAN (CAN B).
Analog
Wiring of the multifunction inputs 01 and 10
Wiring of multifunction inputs 08 and 09
Input voltage range
The multifunction inputs 08 and 09 have an input voltage range of 0 to 20 V.
Multifunction inputs 01 and 10 have an input voltage range of 0 to 40 V.
Input current of multifunction inputs 01 and 10
The multifunction inputs 01 and 10 have a standardized analog input current of 110 μA (with 13.5 V) without active pull-ups.
With active pull-up resistor and closed switch, a standardized switch current of 10 mA flows.
Input current of multifunction inputs 08 and 09
Multifunction inputs 08 and 09 have a standardized analog input current of 100 μA (with 13.5 V) without active pull-ups.
With active pull-up resistor and closed switch, a standardized switch current of 120 μA flows.
With active strong pull-up resistor and closed switch, a standardized switch current of 5.7 mA flows.
Low activity
The analog inputs are low-active.
Switchable pull-up resistors
The strong pull-up resistors (2.1 kΩ) of multifunction inputs 08 and 09 can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.
The pull-up resistors (100 kΩ (±7 %)) of the multifunction inputs 08 and 09 can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.
The disconnected pull-up resistors (1.2 kΩ) of multifunction inputs 01 and 10 can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.
Switching thresholds
The inputs are measured analogously; the switching thresholds can be configured by means of diagnosis.
Wake capability
The wake capability can be parameterized for multifunction input 08; an edge change at the input wakes the control unit. This function requires the low-impedance pull-up resistor to be activated.
High-active
Wiring of the multifunction inputs 02, 03, and 04
Pull-down resistors
The pull-down resistors (2.1 kΩ) are directly connected to the ground connection.
Switching thresholds
The following switching thresholds apply for the multifunction inputs 02, 03, and 04:
- ON ≥ 6.3 V
- OFF ≤ 3.0 V
- Hysteresis ≥ 0.4 V
Wake capability
The wake capability can be parameterized individually; a flank change at the input wakes the control unit.
Permissible input voltage
The permissible input voltage for the high-active inputs is between 0 V and battery voltage.
Low-active
Wiring of multifunction inputs 05, 06, and 07
Switchable pull-up resistors
The pull-up resistors (2.1 kΩ) can be switched on or off individually by means of the controller.
Switching thresholds
The following switching thresholds apply for multifunction inputs 05, 06, and 07:
- OFF ≥ 6.3 V
- ON ≤ 3.0 V
- Hysteresis ≥ 0.4 V
Wake capability
The wake capability can be parameterized individually; a flank change at the input wakes the control unit.
The pull-up resistor belonging to the input must be activated.
Permissible input voltage
The permissible input voltage for the low-active inputs is between 0 V and battery voltage.
