Central locking functions 

Central locking system module 

To be used the module has to be activated.

Unlock front central locking system (CL) 

Activation (AND operation): 

• Function input "Drs_Front_Unlk_Rq_MPM" is active.
• At least one front door (left or right) is installed.
• A locking or unlocking procedure is not active. "CLKS_Busy_CBC" (signal acquisition and actuation module control unit (SAM) (N10/1), "SAM_F_A6_VAN") = "0".

Function cancellation (OR operation) 

• The front doors are unlocked or open and the load compartment is in preceding status.
• CL timeout period 1 or 2 has expired.

Active function 

The following procedure is started upon activation:

• Check whether the load compartment is locked. (System specification 179/309, changed on am 16.0416.04.2014: Partially unlocked load compartment doors mean that the load compartment is not locked).
• Unlock overall vehicle. Signal "Out_MPM_CLkS_Unlk_Rq_MPM" is set.
• Cancellation after expiry of CL timeout period 1 or continue with point 4 if the doors are recognized to be locked or open. The "Out_MPM_CLkS_Unlk_Rq_MPM" signal is reset to "0".
• If the load compartment was locked, continue with point 5, otherwise with point 4.
• Cancellation after expiry of CL timeout period 2 or "CLKS_busy_CBC" changes to "0".
• Wait for the codeable CL waiting time.
• Lock load compartment. Signal "Out_MPM_Rear_Lk_Rq_MPM" is set.
• Cancellation after expiry of CL timeout period 1 or when the load compartment is recognized as being locked or the load compartment doors are open. Signal "Out_MPM_Rear_Lk_Rq_MPM" is reset to "0".
• End procedure. The interior CAN (CAN-B) is woken up and the interior CAN stay awake request is set for the whole procedure.

• Unlock load compartment. Signal "Out_MPM_Rear_Unlk_Rq_MPM" is set.
• Cancellation after expiry of CL timeout period 1 or when the load compartment is recognized as being unlocked or the load compartment doors are open. Signal "Out_MPM_Rear_Unlk_Rq_MPM" is reset to "0".
• End procedure. The interior CAN is woken up and the stay awake request for the interior CAN is set for the whole procedure.

• It is no longer possible to lock or unlock the front doors only. The overall vehicle must always be locked or unlocked. After this, the complete load compartment status can be locked or unlocked. It is not possible to restore the status if only individual doors in the load compartment are locked or unlocked. If at least one of the load compartment doors is unlocked or open, then the complete load compartment is unlocked.
• Different message cycle for "MPM_A1_VAN" and "MPM_A3".

Unlock central locking system for overall vehicle 

Activation (AND operation) 

• Function input "CLkS_Unlk_Rq" is active.
• A locking or unlocking procedure is not active. "CLKS_Busy_CBC" (signal acquisition and actuation module control unit (SAM) (N10/1), SAM_F_A6_VAN) is "0".

Function cancellation (OR operation) 

• The installed doors are unlocked or open.
• CL timeout 1 has expired.

Active function 

The following procedure is started upon activation:

• Signal in the signal pool "Out_MPM_CLkS_Unlk_Rq_MPM" is set "1".
• The "Out_MPM_CLkS_Lk_Rq_MPM" signal is canceled upon activation of the function.
• If the "Out_MPM_CLkS_Unlk_Rq_MPM" signal changes, the interior CAN is woken up and the stay awake request for the interior CAN is set for 5 to 7 s.

Parameter:
