Vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) interface
A large portion of the signals received by the parameterizable special module (PSM) from the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) are made available in the signal pool for further use.
Some of the signals are processed before being placed into the signal pool. The processed signals are listed in the following sections.
The signals are listed in the signal description under "Receive signals via vehicle interior CAN (CAN B)".
Equipment variants
The information on the equipment variant is stored in the EEPROM and adopted in the signal pool when the parameterizable special module (PSM) is activated.
The equipment information is taken from the following messages:
- "VehAddId"
- "VehAddId2"
- "VehAddId_VAN"
- "VehCommonId"
- "VehCommonId_VAN"
Adoption by the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) takes place after Klemme15R ON "Term15R_Actv", if for all 5 messages 3 consecutive messages are identical.
Central locking system
The current state of each of the individual doors is kept in the signal pool for the central-locking functions. The state of open or closed doors is received directly.
Unlocked and locked states must be determined with the aid of actuation commands on the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B).
Doors that are not installed are neither locked nor unlocked. They are not taken into consideration during evaluation.
Vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) send signals
The inputs for the send signals via the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) can be parameterized. For send signals via the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) with a data width of more than one bit, several inputs may also be created.
The signal value requests of the send signals via the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B) are specified here. Additional information is described in the communication matrix (K matrix) of model series 447 and 448, e.g. the signal default values, data types, distributed signal values, etc.
The signal values read in from the signal pool are processed, calculated or verified first before they are output on the vehicle interior CAN (CAN B).
