Inputs and outputs
The parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16) also has an interface to the interior CAN (CAN B). This connection makes it possible to access vehicle status information with the parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16) and to control vehicle functions.
The parameterizable special module (PSM) control unit (N26/16) has various inputs and outputs. The inputs are debounced and stored as a signal in the signal pool.
The individual outputs are assigned signals by means of parameterization. In the case of outputs with special functions (asymmetric half bridge) and pulse width modulation (PWM), additional information regarding their use is required. If the respective signal is "1" (active), the output is activated.
A list of the signals available for this purpose can be found in the document "Signal lists, PSM function".
The controllable vehicle functions are listed in the documents "Functional scope, PSM function".
The PSM interfaces comprise the following interfaces:
- PSM inputs interface
- PSM outputs interface
- Interface for bodybuilder manufacturer CAN (CAN ABH)
- Interior CAN (CAN B) interface
- CAN 2 interface for user interface (model 907, 910) or user interface CAN 2 (model 447, 448) (CAN HMI2)
- Multifunction CAN interface (model 907, 910) or CAN for multifunctions (model 447, 448) (CAN K)
