Retrofit USB Connection Cable For Audio 40 - AN82.85-S-0015-09E

Model 447.6/7 

1. Route USB connection cables (2), as shown, from installation location of USB connectors (2.1) up to installation location of audio 40 behind the device installation frame (6).
2. Fix USB connection cables (2) in place in area of device installation frame (6) using cable ties.

   Strap down the excess length of the USB connection cables (2). Ensure sufficient line length of USB connection cables (2) for installation of the audio 40.

   The USB plugs (2.2) of the USB connection cables (2) are connected when installing the audio 40.

   Shown on removed cover of center instrument panel (3) 

   The next steps are not performed until the cover of the center instrument panel (3) is installed.

3. Guide USB connectors (2.1)

   with USB connection cables (2), as shown, through opening (arrow A) of cover of center instrument panel (3).

   The USB connectors (2.1) are marked with a blue marking (4) and a white marking (5) for PORT determination.

4. Attach USB connectors (2.1), as shown, to USB cover (1).

   The USB connectors (2.1) are determined in USB cover (1) with a positive fit as "PORT1" (arrow B) and as "PORT2" (arrow C).

5. Install USB cover (1) in opening (arrow A) of the cover of the center instrument panel (3).

   Check for correct alignment of USB cover (1) in cover of center instrument panel (3).
