Navigation module wiring harness

1. Install black 12-pin radio plug (2) into connector housing included in parts kit.
2. Install black 12-pin navigation module plug (3) into connector housing included in parts kit.
3. Crimp contact spring included in parts kit onto voltage supply line (6) .
4. Crimp cable lug included in parts kit onto ground line (7) .

5. Route navigation module wiring harness in instrument panel as shown.

   Do not kink navigation module wiring harness and ensure that it is routed without any chafing.

   This will prevent damage occurring.

6. Fasten navigation module wiring harness section by section using cable ties to factory-installed electrical wiring harness.
7. Install black 12-pin radio plug (2) in central connector (1).

   Slot assignment:

   Slot C

   The central connector (1) and the blue 4-pin jack (4) are mounted during radio (audio) (N87/2) installation.

8. Install voltage supply line (6) into firewall fuse and relay module (K40/11).
9. Unscrew nut of cockpit ground point (W1/6).
10. Install ground line (7) at cockpit ground point (W1/6) and fasten with nut.
11. Strap down extended length at navigation module wiring harness and fasten using cable ties to factory-installed electrical wiring harness.

    Do not kink navigation module wiring harness and ensure that it is routed without any chafing.

    This will prevent damage occurring.

    The black 12-pin navigation module plug (3) and the gray 4-pin jack (5) are mounted during the installation of the glove compartment to the Becker® MAP PILOT control unit mount (N41-1).

12. Route radio antenna line from installation location of radio (audio) (N87/2) to TMC antenna splitter (A28/13) as shown.
13. Mount white 1-pin jack (9) to TMC antenna splitter (A28/13).

    The black 1-pin jack (8) of the radio antenna line is mounted to the radio (audio) (N87/2) during the installation of the radio.
