Retrofit Exit And Warning Lamp With Logo Projector - AZ82.20-S-0020E

Notice	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove
1	Remove exit and warning lamp (3) from left and right front door.	To do so, carefully release catch hooks (arrow A) using long wedge .

2	Remove black 2-pin contact socket (2) from exit and warning lamp (3) on left and right front door and remove respective exit and warning lamp (3).	Standard exit and warning lamp (3) is replaced and no longer used.
	Install
3	Connect black 2-pin contact socket (2) with exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) to left and right front door.
	Check
4	Switch on entrance and exit illumination at overhead control panel.
5	Perform function check of exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) on left and right front door.	The heat sink fitted to the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) gets very hot.

		If the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) do not light up, ↓ swap contact cavity assignment of electric lines at black 2-pin contact socket (2) of vehicle wiring harness and perform function check again.
6	Switch off entrance and exit illumination at overhead control panel.
	Install
7	Retrofit exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) to left and right front door.	Do not pinch or crush vehicle wiring harness of black 2-pin contact socket (2). This prevents malfunctions of the exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1).
		To do so, carefully engage catch hooks (arrow B) in door trim
8.1	Document retrofitted equipment through Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc).	Model 447 up to 31.08.21, model 907, 910
		Attach note "Exit and warning lamp with logo projector retrofitted as per AZ82.20-S-0020E" under field organization texts to KG72 and KG82.
8.2	Enter retrofitted special equipment in VeDoc.	Model 447 as of 01.09.21
		Designation of affected special equipment: code LP4 (Projection of brand logo).
		Attach note "Exit and warning lamp with logo projector retrofitted as per AZ82.20-S-0020E" under field organization texts to KG72 and KG82.
	Check
9	Perform function check of exit and warning lamp with logo projector (1) on left and right front door.	Entrance and exit illumination must be switched on at overhead control panel.
