Pin for installation of additional brake lamp

1. Remove protective foil of adhesive seal from additional brake lamp (1).
2. Position shop-made pin (3) as shown, through opening in liftgate (2) below additional brake lamp (1) from inside.

   Helper required.

3. Position additional brake lamp (1) precisely on liftgate (2).

   The position cannot be changed afterwards. Otherwise, the leak tightness of the adhesive seal cannot be assured.

4. Press on additional brake lamp (1) completely while counter holding outer paneling of liftgate (2) with shop-made pin (3) so that clips (4) can engage correctly.

   Carefully counterhold outer paneling of liftgate (2) using shop-made pin. Otherwise the outer paneling may be damaged.

   Helper required.
