Detach/Attach Tail Lamp - AR82.10-S-4905-01E

Model 447, 448 

With Code LG4 (Taillights, brake lights and turn signal light in LED technology) 

If the left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or the right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) cannot be unclipped due to replaced sidewall paneling, these work instructions must be followed exactly. Otherwise damage may occur.

Remove 

1. Apply a suitable plastic putty knife (1) with a thickness of approx. 1 to 2 mm, as shown, between the left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or the right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) and the sidewall paneling.
2. Unclip left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) from the upper ball head and in the process gently pull backwards and remove the left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or the right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1).

   The lower retaining clip (2) of the left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) remains on the lower ball head.

3. Remove plastic putty knife (1).
4. Remove lower retaining clip (2) from lower ball head (3).

   Installing 

5. Insert lower retaining clip (2) into guide (4) at left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1), as shown.

   Do not insert lower retaining clip (2) all the way into the guide (4).

6. Apply a suitable plastic putty knife (1), as shown, between the left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or the right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) and the sidewall paneling.
7. Position left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) with lower retaining clip (2) on lower ball head.
8. Swivel left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) into the installation position as shown.

   The lower retaining clip (2) is clipped to the lower ball head here.

9. Clip left rear LED lamp unit (E3/1) or right rear LED lamp unit (E4/1) into upper ball head.
10. Remove plastic putty knife (1).
