The next steps are shown on model 447 with code T19 (left sliding door) on the left side of the vehicle and must be carried out in the same way on the right side of the vehicle in the event of damage.
- During installation, first, position the entrance (1) above the longitudinal member (3) with the front side from the bottom in the direction of the arrow (A) and in the direction of the arrow (C) and then install with the rear side in the direction of the arrow (B).
Bend left shackle (arrow D) of the entrance (1) outward until the entrance (1) can be carried through on both sides of the jack support point (2).
Aid of helper required.
- Fit entrance (1) and fix in place.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to the hatched area of the entrance (1) (area F).
Observe pretreatment of bonding surface (area F). Observe manufacturer's specifications for curing and processing times of 2-component adhesive.
To do this, press entrance (1) in the direction of the arrow (E) until 2-component adhesive can be applied.

- Remove shavings.
- Coat weld joints with zinc dust paint (areas G, H, and I).

- Press front floor (8) onto the entrance (1).

- Remove shavings.
- Coat weld joints with zinc dust paint.
- Install longitudinal member (9), fit, and fix in place.
