1. Expose spot welds on side wall paneling reinforcement (2) and cut out (area A).
2. Remove damaged side wall paneling reinforcement (2).

3. Mark separating point on inner left front side wall (1) and cut (area B).

   Do not cut too deeply. Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

4. Expose spot welds on inner left front side wall (1) and cut out (area C).

5. Mark separating point on inner left front side wall (1) and cut (area D).

   Do not cut too deeply. Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

6. Expose spot welds on inner left front side wall (1) and cut out (areas E to G).
7. Remove damaged inner left front side wall (1).

8. Drill holes for MAG welding (area H).
9. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in crosshatched areas and around holes (area H).

   Sand down spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides.

10. Remove shavings and drill chips.
11. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
