- Mark separating points in new left inner front side wall (1) and cut (areas A and B).
Transfer separation points from vehicle.
- Grind mating surfaces on left inner rear side wall section (2) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
- Grind mating surfaces on side wall paneling reinforcement (3) down to bare metal in the crosshatched areas.
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
