Model 447, 448
- Install inner rear wheel well (1), inner sidewall (2), outer rear wheel well (3), rear reinforcement (4), front reinforcement (5), C-pillar (6) and sidewall paneling, fit and fix in place.
- Drill rivet holes on inner rear wheel well (1) with Ø 6.5 mm bit (area A).
- Remove outer rear wheel well (1), C-pillar (6) and sidewall paneling.
- Deburr rivet holes on both sides.
- Coat insides of riveted joint with zinc dust paint.
- Install inner rear wheel well (1), fit and fix in place.
- Inner rear wheel well (1), inner sidewall (2) and outer rear wheel well (3)
(area B).
- Rivet inner rear wheel well (1) with Ø 6.4x14 blind rivets (area C).
- Inner sidewall (2), outer rear wheel well (3), rear reinforcement (4), front reinforcement (5)
(areas D to I).
- Rear reinforcement (4) and front reinforcement (5)
(areas J and K).
- Inner sidewall (2)
(areas L and M).
- Drill Inner sidewall (2) and outer rear wheel well (3) before inert gas welding (arrows).
- Inner sidewall (2) and outer rear wheel well (3)
(areas N and O).
- Clean weld joints no longer accessible after installing C-pillar (6) and coat with zinc dust paint.
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body (area P).
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces. Refer to the manufacturer's information for the curing and working times of 2-component adhesive.
- Install C-pillar (6), fit and fix in place.

- Grind inert gas welds and inert gas spot welds down flat.
- Clean weld joints.
- Restore and clean surfaces on inner sidewall (2).
- Remove shavings and drill chips.
- Clean welding areas no longer accessible after installing sidewall paneling and coat with zinc dust paint.
