	Check
1	Check if vehicle is affected by measure.	Affected vehicles: Check installation position of brake fluid reservoir, correct if necessary (code: VS2BE42BRE) For authorized Mercedes-Benz service partners, only the entry in the "Extended VEGA Application" (EVA) system, in the "Current" tab is decisive. An additional test of the affected vehicles in the workshop information system (WIS) or vehicle list is thereby not necessary.	SM42.10-S-0052-01AAA
2	Check if expansion rivet (1) is present and undamaged.	If expansion rivet (1) is present and undamaged, ↓ Continue with operation step 3. If expansion rivet (1) is missing or damaged, ↓ continue with operation step 4.
3	Check installation position of brake fluid reservoir (2).	Pull brake fluid reservoir (2) in direction of travel and then push against direction of travel. The installation position of the brake fluid reservoir (2) is correct, when the brake fluid reservoir (2) is firmly seated in the bracket (3). If brake fluid reservoir (2) is firmly seated in holder (3), ↓ do not perform any further operations and hand the vehicle over to the customer. If brake fluid reservoir (2) is not firmly seated in holder (3), ↓ continue with operation step 4.
	Correct installation position
4	Correct installation position of brake fluid reservoir (2). To do so, press brake fluid reservoir (2)	against direction of travel until it is firmly seated in holder (3). The installation position of the brake fluid reservoir (2) is now corrected.
5	Install new expansion rivet (1).	Expansion rivet (1) must be installed as shown. Otherwise, firm seating and correct installation position of the brake fluid reservoir (2) cannot be guaranteed. Dispose of removed component parts that are no longer required properly. To do so, observe the applicable legal requirements and specifications of the relevant country.
