	General brake test (Only applies for countries without a specified brake test on the roller brake test stand)
1	Check braking characteristics of service brake and parking brake when driving.	It must be ensured that the brake test when driving is performed as per the country-specific legislation and regulations. 2	Move vehicle with front axle onto roller brake test stand.

3	Measure deceleration values of service brake.	The permissible deviation from the larger value may not exceed 25%. A braking effect must be discernible by the time the brake pedal has been depressed by a quarter of its overall travel distance. Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise. Perform test with engine running or with electric vacuum pump running to ensure that maximum vacuum is present Press brake pedal uniformly. The maximum values prior to the wheels locking up are to be documented. If any deviations are present. ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
4	Move rear axle of vehicle into roller brake test stand.

6.1	Measure deceleration values for mechanical parking brake.	Model 447, 448 except code B25 (Electric parking brake) The permissible deviation from each larger value may not exceed 50%. When operating the parking brake, a braking effect must be discernible after 3 to 4 notches. Malfunction or damage can occur otherwise. Operate parking brake uniformly. The maximum values prior to the wheels locking up are to be documented. If any deviations are present. ↓ determine cause and correct. After obtaining special order.
6.2	Measure deceleration values of electric parking brake.	Model 447, 448 with code B25 (Electric parking brake) Before operating the electric parking brake, the rear axle wheels must be driven for at least 10 s by the roller brake test stand so that the brake shoes can be applied slowly. Otherwise damage may occur. To do so, press and hold the switch of the electric parking brake. The maximum values prior to the wheels locking up are to be documented.
7	Drive the vehicle off the roller brake test stand.
8	Enter deceleration values of the service brake and parking brake in the maintenance sheet.
