The left front door control unit is located on the door module behind the door trim.

- Left front door rotary tumbler microswitch (M14/3s1)
- Left front power window motor Hall sensor (M10/3)
- Driver central locking system inside door handle switch (S85/5)
Left front door LIN
The signals for the following component parts are read via the left front door LIN:
- Left front door control panel (S47):
- Left front power window assembly switch (S47s1)
- Right front power window assembly switch (S47s2)
- Left hinged window switch (S47s3) (with code W32 (Electric passenger compartment hinged window))
- Right hinged window switch (S47s4) (with code W32 (Electric passenger compartment hinged window))
- Rear child safety lock switch (S47s5) (with code W32 (Electric passenger compartment hinged window))
- Outside mirror fold-in/out switch (S47s6) (with code FP3 (Mirror Package))
- Left outside mirror adjustment switch (S47s7)
- Right outside mirror adjustment switch (S47s8)
- Outside mirror adjustment switch (S47s9)
- Driver electrical seat adjustment switch (S22/1) (with code SF1 (Luxury electrically adjustable driver's seat)):

- PRE-SAFE® adjustment request (with code JP1 (PRE-SAFE))
- Move to memory position request (with code SF1 (Luxury electrically adjustable driver's seat))
- Convenience feature request
- Crash signal

Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant component parts are then actuated.

- Left front door central locking system actuator (M14/3)
- Left exit/warning lamp (E20/1)
- Left front door handle recess shell lighting (E23) (with code LC1 (Ambient lighting))
- Left front illuminated door sill panel (E28) (with code LC1 (Ambient lighting))
- Left front power window motor
- Left outside mirror (M21/4):
- Left outside mirror turn signal lamp (M21/4e1)
- Left outside mirror surround lighting (M21/4e2)
- Left Blind Spot Assist readiness and warning display (M21/4e3) (with code JP2 (Driving Assistance Package) or with code JP4 (Lane Tracking Package))
- Left mirror dimming (M21/4r4) (with code FP3 (Mirror Package))
- Mirror up/down adjustment potentiometer (M21/4r3)
- Mirror in/out adjustment potentiometer (M21/4r2)

- Seat ventilation status (with code SE0 (Seat climate control for driver))
Transmitting signals
The left front door control unit transmits the following signals, among others, via the interior CAN:
- Open/close power window assemblies request
- Open/close hinged window request
- Adjust right outside mirror request
- Convenience feature mode
- Convenience feature direction
- Status of CL
- Door status (open/closed)
- Seat ventilation request (with code SE0 (Seat climate control for driver))
- Seat heating request (with code SF1 (Luxury electrically adjustable driver's seat) or code H16 (Heating for driver's seat))
- Seat adjustment request (with code SF1 (Luxury electrically adjustable driver's seat))
