| 1 | Remove cargo area stowage shelf and lay down with upper side down on clean surface | AR68.80-S-5805E | |
| 2 | Move handle (1) to release position as shown | ||
| 3 | Unscrew bolt with washer (2) | If installed. | |
| 4 | Pry off handle (1) with assembly wedge (3) and remove | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Press down bolt (4) (arrow A) and simultaneously pull shaft (5) out of bolt (4) with suitable pliers | ||
| Install | |||
| 6 | Insert shaft (5) into new handle (1) | ||
| 7 | Position handle (1) on bolt (4) | ||
| 8 | Press down bolt (4) and simultaneously press shaft (5) into bolt (4) with suitable punch until shaft (5) makes contact in handle (1) (arrow B) | ||
| 9 | Tighten bolt with washer (2) | ||
| 10 | Install load compartment shelf | AR68.80-S-5805E | |
| Check | |||
| 11 | Check locking and unlocking mechanism for proper function |
