	Remove/install
1	Remove the selector lever boot (5) from the trim (1).	Model 447.6/7 with code GE1 (6-speed manual transmission TSG 380) To do so, remove the retaining clips for the selector lever boot (5). Check retaining clips for damage.
		Long wedge If damage is present: ↓ Replace the selector lever boot (5).	Fig 1
2	Unscrew screw (6).	Model 447.6/7 with code GE1 (6-speed manual transmission TSG 380)
3	Remove trim (1).	To do so, remove the retaining clips (7) and pull the trim (1) forward until the electrical connectors (2, 3, 4) are accessible. Check retaining clips (7) for damage. Make sure that the trim (1) is seated correctly.
		Long wedge If damage is present: ↓ Replace damaged retaining clip (7).	Fig 1
4	Remove trim (1).	Model 447.6/7, 448.7 with code XM7 (MOPF II) except code CA4 (AIRMATIC) For this purpose, release and disconnect electrical connector (2). Model 447.6/7, 448.7 with code CA4 (AIRMATIC) To do so, release and disconnect the electrical connectors (2, 3, 4).
5	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
6	Test the function of the USB port.
7	Test the function of the KEYLESS-GO antenna.
8	Test the function of the vehicle dynamics switch.	Model 447.6/7, 448.7 with code CA4 (AIRMATIC)
