1	Check whether vehicle is affected by measure	Affected vehicles: Replace lock striker on C-pillar (code: VS2SCHLIOE) For authorized Mercedes-Benz service partners, only the entry in the "Extended VEGA Application" (EVA) system, in the "Current" tab is decisive. An additional test of the affected vehicles in the workshop information system (WIS) or vehicle list is thereby not necessary.	SM72.16-S-0006-01AAA
	Replace
2	Replace lock striker (1) on C-pillar at right	Mark installation position of old lock striker (1) before removal. Use new bolts (2) for the new lock striker (1). Install lock striker (1) at previously marked position. Tighten bolts (2) of lock striker (1) lightly by hand. Dispose of removed lock striker (1) and bolts (2) properly. Observe the applicable legal requirements and regulations of the country in question with regard to the proper and environmentally-compatible scrapping procedure.
3	Check right sliding door for ease of movement	Carefully close sliding door. Otherwise, components on the door cutout or sliding door may be damaged. If the sliding door does not close smoothly. ↓ Release bolts (2) again and re-adjust the lock striker (1). If the sliding door does close smoothly. ↓ Proceed with operation step 4.
4	Tighten bolts (2) of lock striker (1) on C-pillar at right	Bolt, lock striker to C-pillar	*BA72.16-Z-1005-01KOJ
5	Replace lock striker (1) on C-pillar at left	Model 447 with code T19 (Left sliding door) Mark installation position of old lock striker (1) before removal. Use new bolts (2) for the new lock striker (1). Install lock striker (1) at previously marked position. Tighten bolts (2) of lock striker (1) lightly by hand. Dispose of removed lock striker (1) and bolts (2) properly. Observe the applicable legal requirements and regulations of the country in question with regard to the proper and environmentally-compatible scrapping procedure.
6	Check left sliding door for ease of movement	Model 447 with code T19 (Left sliding door) Carefully close sliding door. Otherwise, components on the door cutout or sliding door may be damaged. If the sliding door does not close smoothly. ↓ Release bolts (2) again and re-adjust the lock striker (1). If the sliding door does close smoothly. ↓ Continue with operation step 7.
7	Tighten bolts (2) of lock striker (1) on C-pillar at left	Model 447 with code T19 (Left sliding door) Bolt, lock striker to C-pillar	*BA72.16-Z-1005-01KOJ
