- Install crossmember inner section (1) and lower corner pillar reinforcement with
locating tool, fit and fix in place.

- If the inner rear longitudinal member and rear longitudinal frame member were removed.

- If the inner rear longitudinal member and rear longitudinal frame member were not removed.
Crossmember inner section (1)
(areas A and B).
Spot weld areas A and B only in accessible area.
- If the inner rear longitudinal member and rear longitudinal frame member were removed.
- Remove lower corner pillar reinforcement and
locating tool.
- Complete crossmember inner section (1) RP. * (areas A and B).
Only if the inner rear longitudinal member and rear longitudinal frame member were not removed.
- Crossmember inner section (1)
(areas C to F).
- Crossmember inner section (1)
(areas G and H).
Inert gas weld in intervals and allow to cool down in between.
Reduces heat distortion.
- Clean weld joints.
- Remove shavings.
- Coat welding areas no longer accessible after installing bottom corner pillar reinforcement and end crossmember outer section, clean and coat with zinc dust paint.
