Task
The KEYLESS-GO antennas transmit and receive radio signals for position determination and authorization of the transmitter key. The transmitter key receives the signals from the KEYLESS-GO antenna located near it.
The position of the transmitter key is verified by evaluating the signal levels of the radio signals. The electronic ignition lock control unit evaluates the signals of the KEYLESS-GO antennas accordingly.
Location
For vehicles with KEYLESS-GO starting function, two KEYLESS-GO antennas are located in the vehicle interior. One at the front and one at the rear in the vehicle interior.
For vehicles with KEYLESS-GO, an additional two KEYLESS-GO antennas are located on the sides. One on the left and one on the right. These KEYLESS-GO antennas detect the position outside the vehicle near the doors and then give permission to open the door.
