Retrofit Radio Preinstallation Adapter Wiring Harness - AN82.60-S-0010-01E

with code ER0 (Radio, pre-wiring) 

1. Remove connector housing from CAN B connector (2) and microphone connector (3), and replace with new connector housings from supplied parts kit.

2. Route adapter wiring harness (1), as shown, from the radio installation location (audio) (N87/2) in instrument panel up to the installation location for the overhead control panel or dome lamp.

   Do not kink adapter wiring harness (1) and ensure that it is routed without any chafing.

   Prevent damage.

3. Secure adapter wiring harness (1) in sections using cable ties to electrical wiring harness available at the factory.

   Make sure that the adapter wiring harness (1) does not make contact with the front headliner (9).

   This will prevent interference.

   To do so, align the head unit connector (5) and the central connector (8) for connection to the radio (audio) (N87/2) and the USB/AUX connectors (4) for connection to the USB/AUX connection unit.

4. Install CAN B connector (2) into interior CAN (CAN B) potential distributor electrical connector (X301).
5. Route microphone connector (3) on adapter wiring harness (1) to installation opening of overhead control panel or dome lamp.

   : The connection of the microphone connector (3) is described when installing the overhead control panel or dome lamp.
