Notice	Notes on carrying out repair work in the vehicle interior		AH68.00-D-0001-01KOS
	Remove/install
1	Download stored data for digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56) using workshop card.	Only when replacing digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56). After completing the repair work, hand over the downloaded data to the registered owner.
2	Slide extraction hooks (1) into the side openings of the digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56) up to the end stop.
3	Remove digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56) using extraction hooks (1) from equipment installation frame.	Remove extraction hooks (1) before sliding in the equipment installation frame. The digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56) must latch into place in the equipment installation frame.
4	Release and disconnect electrical connections (2) from digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56).
5	Remove tachograph sensor.	Model 447 with code JD6 (Intelligent tachograph, EU) If the digital tachograph (DTCO) (A56) is replaced. The tachograph sensor can only be connected once to the digital tachograph (DTCO) (A56) (teach-in). Install new tachograph sensor.	AR54.61-S-5505E
6	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
7	Perform tachograph inspection.	Only after installation of a new speed sensor or a new digital tachograph (DTCO) control unit (A56). Observe legal requirements for tachograph inspection. In the Federal Republic of Germany test the tachograph as per 57b of StVZO [German vehicle licensing regulations].
