REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove refrigerator box. Model 167.9 with code 308 (Refrigerated compartment in rear passenger compartment) with code M036 (Maybach version) AR86.61-P-1010MEX
3 Remove holder of electrical connector for refrigerator box from trim (1).    
4 Remove trim (1).    
5 Remove rear-end center-section trim.   AR68.30-P-4786ME 
6 Unclip front load compartment floor (2) and remove from vehicle. SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 2
7 Remove screw at hinges of rear load compartment floor (3). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Screw, rear load compartment floor to crossmember *BA68.30-P-1003-01G 
8 Remove rear load compartment floor (3) from vehicle.    
9 Remove cargo retainers (5). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt, cargo retainers to body *BA68.50-P-1001-03F 
10 Release edge guard in area of load compartment trim (4).    
11.1 Unclip left load compartment trim (4) (arrows) and remove. When removing left load compartment trim (4).
SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge

11.2 Unclip right load compartment trim (4) (arrows), disconnect electrical connectors (6), and remove right load compartment trim (4). When removing right load compartment trim (4).

12 Remove rear-end lowering switch (S105) from right load compartment trim (4). When replacing right load compartment trim (4).  
13 Remove trunk socket (X58/12) from right load compartment trim (4). When replacing right load compartment trim (4).
SPECIAL TOOL Pliers

14 Unclip damping behind load compartment trim (4) and remove. If necessary.

15 Install in the reverse order.
