IMPORTANT The setting of the angle of incidence on the wiper arm to be adjusted is always carried out in the park position and only when the check values deviate from the tolerance range in the reverse or park position. While doing so, the wiper arm to be adjusted is twisted at least by the value of the tolerance deviation in reversing position.

IMPORTANTSPECIAL TOOL The adjustment tool set contains the angle gauge and adjustment lever.

  1. Remove plastic holder (D) from adjustment lever (C) from SPECIAL TOOL adjustment tool set.

  2. Remove angle gauge (A) from the SPECIAL TOOL adjustment tool set.
  3. Insert SPECIAL TOOL adapter (B) into guide of angle gauge (A) and attach with screw.
  4. Slide SPECIAL TOOL adapter (B) with angle gauge (A) onto wiper blade mount of wiper arm (1) to be adjusted and attach with screw.
  5. Lower wiper arm (1) to be adjusted carefully onto windshield.

IMPORTANT All three contact points at the foot of the angle gauge (A) must make contact with the windshield.

  9. Attach second adjustment lever (C) onto SPECIAL TOOL adapter (E).

IMPORTANT The wiper arm (1) to be adjusted is twisted via adjustment lever (C), which was mounted onto SPECIAL TOOL adapter (B). Adjustment lever (C) serves as a counter holder and was mounted onto SPECIAL TOOL adapter (E).

  10. Push adjustment lever (C) fitted to SPECIAL TOOL adapter (B) in the direction required until the wiper arm (1) to be adjusted is twisted by at least the value of the tolerance deviation in the reversing position.

  11. Remove adjustment lever (C) and SPECIAL TOOL adapter (E) from adjusted wiper arm (1).
  12. Close hood.
