Remove/Install Touchpad Control Unit - AR54.21-P-0503ME

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Perform commissioning of touchpad (A105). If the touchpad (A105) is replaced. AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
3 Unclip handrest (1) at the rear end upward (arrow A) and remove toward rear.    
4 Unscrew screws (2) and remove base of handrest (1).    
5 Unclip cover (4) from front to rear until the electrical connectors underneath it are accessible. 1 SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 2
6 Release electrical connectors, disconnect and remove cover (4). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.  
7 Unscrew screws (3) and remove touchpad (A105).    
8 Install in the reverse order.
