| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Disconnect the ground line for the on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 2 | Detach floor covering (1) at front on driver's side until cover (2) is accessible. | AR68.80-P-0007ME | |
| 3 | Unclip electrical line (3) from cover (2). | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Remove cover (4) of cover (2). | ||
| 5 | Unscrew nuts (5) and remove cover (2). | ||
| 6 | Unclip electrical wiring harness of DC/AC converter control unit (N24/3) from bracket (10) (arrow). | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 7 | Remove DC/AC converter control unit (N24/3) far enough out of bracket (10) until the electrical connectors are accessible. | ||
| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from DC/AC converter control unit (N24/3). | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. |
